You pick the retention per camera, and that sets its price: 7-day $7, 30-day $12, 60-day $20, or 365-day $69 per camera per month — 720p, recorded during operating hours, stored in AV1 (the same modern codec the big streaming platforms use — it's how we keep a camera at $7). Mix and match across cameras; a hallway camera can keep 7 days while a med-room camera keeps a year. Compliance and litigation-hold retention (e.g. Minnesota camera-law states) is self-serve at the longer tiers — and those state minimums can raise a camera's floor.

Then you don't add cameras, and there's no video line on your bill — you still get the full software (parent app, attendance, billing, payroll, lesson & menu planning, compliance) at base + per-child. AI features (summaries, AI lesson drafting, daily reports) are a separate $50/mo add-on, available on every plan. EVV is a separate $75/mo add-on for elder-care facilities. We record at an optimized HD profile tuned to your cameras — and our own testing shows it scores the same perceptual quality (VMAF ~90) as 4K on these sensors. The reason is simple: TinyGuard cameras have 2K sensors, so recording at 4K would store roughly 8× more data for no visible gain — you'd be paying to upscale, not to see more.
